Philanthropic event supports children and adults with disabilities

San Diego, CALIF- The Arc of San Diego is proud to announce a new philanthropic event taking place this holiday season, Winter Wonderland Fashion Show & Luncheon. Presented by Leonard Simpson & Fashion Forward, Winter Wonderland features a silent auction, luncheon, and fashion show featuring some of the finest trends in style. This magnificent affair will directly benefit life-changing programs at The Arc of San Diego. 

What better way to celebrate the holiday season while showcasing some of the most exquisite attire while raising vital funds for children and adults with disabilities.  After all, it is fashionable to be philanthropic! 

Winter Wonderland takes place on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at The U.S. Grant Hotel, 326 Broadway, San Diego, CA 92101. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. with reception and silent auction followed at 12 noon by luncheon and runway show.  Guests also have the opportunity to support The Arc of San Diego while bidding on alluring auction items in a silent and live auction. All proceeds help The Arc of San Diego continue providing essential life services such as day training, employment, and residential living services to more than 2,000 children and adults with disabilities. 

The event is chaired by Maria Stanley and Cici Stanley, dedicated local philanthropists and supporters of The Arc of San Diego. The Honorary Committee for Winter Wonderland is chaired by Evelyn Barandiaran, co-chaired by Mariel Filippone and Malissa Sanfilippo, with Conservation Ambassadors Joan Embery and Duane Pillsbury also joining their support for this event. Winter Wonderland is made possible through the generous support of Presenting Sponsor Dr. Howard and Barbara Milstein.
