Making a charitable planned gift is one of the simplest ways to remember The Arc when distributing your estate. You can establish an individually created and managed trust that provides you with income and, when trust payments have been completed, benefits The Arc. Consider naming The Arc of San Diego as a beneficiary in your trust, estate, or insurance policies today!
Those who make a charitable planned gift, regardless of the amount, are invited to be a member of The Arc of San Diego's Legacy Society. The Legacy Society is an honorary society of donors who have made The Arc of San Diego a beneficiary of their estate and financial planning. Membership is extended by the Board of Directors as an expression of appreciation. By joining the society, you assure that our organization will continue to provide services for many future generations.
It is a special person who provides for the future of their community. Through the Legacy Society, The Arc recognizes the thoughtful and generous decisions of those who have supported The Arc of San Diego in their estates.
Such gifts may be made by using any of the following gift vehicles:
- Charitable Life Income Plans
- Charitable Lead Trust
- Life Insurance
- Remainder interest in a personal residence
- Gift from a qualified retirement plan
- Other individual estate plan
- Remainder from Special Needs Trust
Benefits of Membership
Members are recognized by The Arc of San Diego, in our publications. They will also receive a commemorative gift and be recognized at an annual celebration.
