Knights of Columbus Presented Award at Annual Meeting
The Arc San Diego Foundation held its Annual Meeting & 25th Annual Recognition Luncheon on June 13, 2024 at Mister A’s restaurant in San Diego. Since 1992, the Foundation has raised millions of dollars to assist The Arc of San Diego in providing essential life services for 2,000 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Arc San Diego Foundation recognized the Knights of Columbus Council #13124 of St. Therese of Carmel Parish with the 2024 Circle of Light Bronze Award. Knights of Columbus Council #13124 first began supporting The Arc of San Diego in 2012. They have a very successful annual “Tootsie Roll Campaign” where they gather donations from the community and parishioners in support of The Arc of San Diego. Their efforts have raised over $30,000 to support services for children and adults with disabilities.
“We are proud to recognize the generosity of the Knights of Columbus Council #13124 with St. Therese of Carmel Parish. Thanks to their support, The Arc of San Diego is able to continue to provide support to children and adults with disabilities throughout San Diego County,” Anthony J. DeSalis, Esq., President & CEO of The Arc of San Diego. “Working with their members and others in the community has been able to make a significant impact on the lives of those we serve at The Arc of San Diego.”
Thank you, Knight of Columbus, for your ongoing generosity to our organization!
