The Arc of San Diego is proud to present the 2025 Community Partnership Award to the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center (JCC) in recognition of their outstanding commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities through inclusive employment opportunities. This award honors community partners who go above and beyond in creating meaningful pathways for people with disabilities to thrive in the workplace. It was presented to Betzy Lynch, Chief Executive Officer, and Wendy Smith, Inclusion Director, at The Arc of San Diego's Annual Meeting & Awards Celebration on June 6, 2025.

The Lawrence Family JCC has been instrumental in advancing the mission of The Arc of San Diego by offering internships and employment to Arc clients across various departments at the Lawrence Family JCC — from guest services to early childhood education. Their team has embraced Arc clients not only as employees but as valued members of their community. Through their support, individuals with disabilities have been able to pursue their passions, develop new skills, and achieve personal and professional milestones. This partnership has created outstanding growth opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
