Help Send Aiden to Camp!
Six year old Aiden is excited about his first real camping experience. With his love for adventure, the outdoors, fishing, sports and wildlife, Aiden's mom knows that a "sleep over" summer camp experience will help him on many levels. At the Arc of San Diego's Camp-A-Little, Aiden will be able to develop his social skills, make new friends and enjoy the outdoors in a safe environment under the guidance of our caring camp staff. The skills he will learn are going to help him build his confidence and show him that like all his new friends at camp he's a pretty special kid who can have fun and exciting adventures just like everyone else.
People with disablities are often turned away from traditional summer camps because of their special needs...
For Aiden's family, like many other families who have children and adults with disabilities, the cost of camp is also not something that comes easy. Many families struggle to make ends meet and often are faced with increased expenses related to the care of their child with a disability.
Let's make sure Aiden and anyone who wants to go to Camp-A-Little & Camp-A-Lot are not turned away because of their financial situations!
