The Arc of San Diego Celebrates Disability Awareness Month with Art for All Art Exhibit and Reception
In celebration of March as Developmental Disability Awareness Month, The Arc of San Diego presents Art for All, an inspiring art exhibit and reception showcasing artwork created by adults with disabilities. This inspirational event will take place on Thursday March 20, 2025 from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the Bonita Museum & Cultural Center (4355 Bonita Rd, Bonita, CA 91902.)

Through art classes led by local artist, Bryttney-Mischele Salvant, participants unleash their creativity, enhance fine motor skills and improve communication skills. Select artwork on display at the event is available for purchase with 100% of proceeds going directly to the artists. Payment is accepted in cash only.
March was officially recognized as Development Disability Awareness Month in a proclamation from President Ronald Reagan in 1987. This annual celebration is an opportunity to remind the public of the contributions of people with disabilities, as well as spread awareness about the obstacles that remain in achieving inclusion.
