SHOP FOR THE HOLIDAYS EARLY AND SUPPORT A LOCAL NONPROFIT

CHULA VISTA, CALIF. – In support of The Arc of San Diego’s Starlight Center, the Starlight Auxiliary is holding their annual holiday bazaar at the Norman Senior Center, located at 270 F Street in Chula Vista.  This event has been taking place for over four decades! The bazaar will be two days long and starts on Saturday, November 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and continues on Sunday, November 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Last year approximately 1,300 people attended the bazaar, and this year even more are expected to attend.  There will be thousands of items for sale including handmade crafts, jewelry, holiday decorations, baby items, baked goods, collectibles and much more. There will also be a raffle with some great prizes.  Proceeds for this event will benefit more than 300 people with disabilities who are served by The Arc of San Diego’s Starlight Center in Chula Vista.

The Arc of San Diego, the largest, most comprehensive provider of services to people with disabilities in San Diego County, was founded in 1951 by parents concerned about the lack of services for their children.  Arc directly impacts the lives of more than 2,500 children and adults with disabilities throughout San Diego County.

For more information on this event please call Terri Thorn at 619-427-7524 or Martha Brault at 619-421-7165.
