Annual Awards
Luncheon is Friday, Oct. 26, 2007
SAN DIEGO, CALIF. – The Arc
of San Diego is honoring some of the regions top businesses and community
members for their service to people with disabilities at their 7th Annual
Community Awards Luncheon on Friday, October 26, 2007.
Perette Godwin,
anchor of San Diego’s CW 5 Morning Show, is the Mistress of Ceremonies.
The keynote speaker will be Robin Lackie, the Americans with Disabilities
Act (ADA) Compliance Representative, from Viejas Enterprises. Lackie will speak
about Viejas’ commitment to employing people with disabilities and their
dedication to working with non-profit organizations to improve the quality of
life in San Diego County.
The Arc has been
providing service to children and adults with disabilities for the past 56
years. Arc’s services and programs have been successful because of the
commitment and support of the San Diego community. The annual Community Awards
Luncheon recognizes those who support creating opportunities for people with
disabilities.
Arc will honor 10
outstanding community partners at the 7th Annual Community Awards Luncheon on
Friday, October 26, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. The event will be held at The Dana on
Mission Bay, 1710 West Mission Bay Drive (92109). Tickets are available for
